Seeking a Junior Engineer responsible for engineering analysis/design for transportation and transit related projects; project management assistance; business development, technical writing, and other assignments. Job duties include engineering/technical support; business development and marketing; project management including scheduling; office operations, report writing, and other relevant tasks. Work experience in transportation, public transport, mass transit, or related fields is preferred. The applicant must be motivated to forge and manage client relationships, promote corporate brand, and deliver quality results that meet clients' expectations.

 Job Duties:

  • Engineering – provide relevant engineering and technical skills for transportation, transit, and related infrastructure projects.

  • Liaison to public agencies and other consulting firms - establish and maintain close relationships with key staff at Public Agencies and consulting firms. Identify and help pursue opportunities for business development.

  • Marketing - monitor client websites for future opportunities, research business inquiries with Clients, prepare statements of qualifications, expression of interests, proposals, and other marketing materials.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or related engineering disciplines.

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.

  • One year+ combined engineering project, company, and marketing experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to work independently and possess superior interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, engineering, project scheduling/management, and related business management software.
